The Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Area School District works to ensure that all students with a disability be educated in the least restrictive environment to the greatest extent possible at all times. Least Restrictive Environment means that a child with a disability should be educated to the greatest extent possible:

•      In the regular education classroom
•      With non disabled peers
•      In the neighborhood school
•      Using general education curriculum
