Bright Beginners

Our Philosopy

We believe that children learn best by pursuing their personal interests and goals.  We believe that each child is unique and brings with them a broad range of knowledge, experience and needs.  We believe that by creating a child-centered environment children will develop a love of learning that will foster life long learners.

We believe it is important that school, family and community work collaboratively in the education of children.

Curriculum

The Bright Beginnings Program follows the Creative Curriculum Philosophy. This philosophy recognizes values and plans for individual differences in children.  The program offers a weekly theme for both small and large group opportunities.  The curriculum focuses on establishing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development.  Active, exploratory learning is encouraged and supported by a team of early childhood professionals.

Learning Targets

Please note the last day of school for the Bright Beginners is Wednesday, June 5.  Graduation will be Thursday, June 6 at 5:45 for the AM students and 6:45 for the PM students.
